SMART CITIZEN & DIGITAL SERVICES

Smart Tehran Program (STP) includes five initiatives. There are 2 plans and 10 projects under the initiative one.

The 1st plan under this initiative is Citizenship Services Platform (MyTehran). This is one the main plans of STP with focus on integrating all digital urban services. It includes four main services: financial services, e-services, citizenship services, and location-based services (LBS). These categories are based citizens’ needs and not only facilitate but also integrate services provision.

The 2nd plan under this initiative is Neighborhood and Citizen Engagement (BAHAM). Promoting neighborhood and citizen engagement is one of the main factors effective on smart city development. The ultimate goal of the initiative is to facilitate interactive communication between citizens and local government and to improve accountability and responsibility to public needs and subsequently to increase citizens’ engagement.
